New ZVO member Nehlsen offers electroplating processes for aircraft parts

Nehlsen-BWB Flugzeug-Galvanik Dresden, a member of the ZVO since January, specializes in processes for the chemical and galvanic surface treatment of aircraft parts.

Nehlsen-BWB Flugzeug-Galvanik GmbH & Co. KG has been a new member of the ZVO since January 1, 2024. Its expertise lies in chemical and electroplating processes for the protection of metallic components. Aircraft components can thus be protected against abrasion and corrosion and their service life can be extended. The electrical conductivity and appearance of metal components can also be influenced by these processes.

Certified in accordance with EN ISO 9100 and NADCAP

The company is the main shareholder of the Swiss BWB Oberflächentechnik group of companies and emerged as an independent company from today's Elbe Flugzeugwerke in 1993. The company has therefore been a competent partner to the aviation industry for many years. It holds the necessary certifications in accordance with EN ISO 9100 and NADCAP.

Surface coatings for aluminum, titanium and stainless steel

At its Dresden site, Nehlsen-BWB offers a wide range of chemical and galvanic surface coatings for aluminum, titanium and stainless steel as well as pre- and post-treatments such as painting, chemical milling and various blasting processes. The Romanian plant in Brasov focuses on the anodizing processes of painting and crack testing.
