Vulkan Inox, manufacturer of high-quality stainless steel abrasives, has expanded its machine park with a new compressed air blast cabinet with integrated quick-change abrasive system.

The blasting system has a modular design and therefore offers maximum degrees of freedom for surface processing. It is therefore particularly suitable for processing samples and for process development. In combination with the existing systems for wheel blasting and wet blasting, Vulkan Inox provides its customers with all essential industrial blasting processes - at one location and with state-of-the-art technology.

Precise blasting thanks to variable nozzle control

Vulkan Inox technicians can use the new compressed air blast cabinet for both manual nozzle movements and semi-automatic operation with a fixed nozzle arrangement. The blasting nozzle can be flexibly positioned and aligned within the working area. Various nozzle configurations enable precise adjustment and processing of the blasting pattern - this ensures optimum processing even with complex geometries and difficult-to-access internal contours.

Flexible adaptation to workpieces and processes

Further adaptations to the specific workpiece to be blasted are possible using various product carriers, turntables and rotary baskets. In order to be able to develop customer-specific solutions, the pressure blasting cabinet was designed so that it can be used with almost all types, shapes and sizes of blasting media. The blast media circuit is emptied quickly and residue-free using a specially designed blast media quick-change system, so that samples or test series can be produced in quick succession. Even demanding workpieces and surfaces can be finished cleanly without long set-up times.
