CO2 emissions reduced by 90 percent
Over the last five years, Vulkan Inox has also made progress in its sustainability strategy. The company has been able to reduce its ecological footprint and optimize its production processes at the same time. The main focus of its efforts has been on reducing emissions, saving water and improving energy efficiency. For example, the company has a modern exhaust air system with a capacity of 45,000 m³/h in use. It uses 15,000 m³/h of the exhaust air for heat recovery. This has not only enabled Vulkan Inox to reduce its energy consumption, but also to heat its production halls efficiently.
