Norbert Haimerl has been a member of the Dr. Hönle AG Management Board since 2000, since last year as Chairman. He contributed significantly to the successful development of the company for more than two decades. The search for a new Chairman or CEO has already been initiated. Until his or her appointment, Dr. Franz Richter will perform this task, but for no longer than one year. During this period, his office as Chairman of the Supervisory Board will be suspended and will be assumed on an interim basis by Niklas Friedrichsen, who has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Dr. Hönle AG since 2022.
Dr. Franz Richter, a physicist, has extensive expertise in the field of technical developments, including UV lithography, UV cleaning and silicone adhesives. The interim CEO is looking forward to his new task: "Hönle has almost 50 years of experience in UV technology, has been and still is a trendsetter or technology driver in many areas and has opened up many new fields of application for UV curing. Together with all employees, we will now set the course for a strategy of accelerated profitable growth."
