UV specialist Hönle will present a selection from its range of UV and LED UV curing devices at ICE Europe. Among them are the UV modules pureUV and LightGuide pureUV, which achieve a good 50 % higher intensity than comparable curing devices thanks to a unique reflector geometry. Optional barriers allow IR radiation to be filtered out as far as possible, so that inks and coatings are cured quickly even on temperature-sensitive substrates. Replacing the UV lamp is extremely simple.
The LightGuide pure UV module is designed for direct insertion into the printing or coating press, while the pureUV has a compact housing and can thus be flexibly installed in the web path of the press. Light Guide pureUV modules are also used in Hönle UV inert chamber systems. A cooled roller in the inert chamber enables optimal temperature management of the web as well as a reduction of nitrogen consumption by about 10%.
