MVHuber GmbH, based in Plettenberg, has been a member of the Zentralverband Oberflächentechnik e.V. (ZVO) since September 1, 2024. The company emerged from the takeover of Wirox Oberflächentechnik by Metallveredelung Huber, a leading provider of industrial surface coatings based in Schwoich, Austria.

Metallveredelung Huber processes around 35,000 tons of components every year, primarily for the construction and automotive industries. Since its foundation in 1965, the company has continuously developed into an important player in surface finishing. With over 50 employees, it is now one of the leading suppliers of zinc and zinc-nickel drum coatings.
Strengthening the market position
According to the company, the takeover will enable it to exploit synergies at its sites in Germany and Austria. This should strengthen its market position. The customers of both companies can continue to obtain customized solutions.
