Metallveredelung Menzel was founded in 1969 by Johannes Menzel. In the second generation, the chemical engineer Thomas Menzel has managed the company's business since 1995. After 28 years, he is now retiring and thus leaving the day-to-day business and as managing director. The new managing director and owner is the previous operations manager Thorsten Ubrig.
