Management change at Krahn Chemie: Martin John takes over as CEO on June 1, 2025 and continues the international growth course.

The Krahn Chemie Group announces a change in the management team: Martin John will join the Executive Board on May 1, 2025 and take over the management of the company on June 1, 2025. "In Martin John, we have found an experienced and competent CEO for the further development of Krahn Chemie," explains Philip O. Krahn, CEO of the Otto Krahn Group.

Extensive experience in the chemical industry

Martin John brings with him more than 30 years of international experience in the chemical industry. The business administration graduate (FH) has worked for Hoechst, Süd-Chemie and Clariant in Europe, the USA and China. Most recently, he headed the global additives business at Clariant with a focus on the coatings and adhesives industry.

Handover of the management

The previous Managing Director, Dr. Rolf Kuropka, will hand over his operational responsibility at the end of May 2025 after more than 13 years at the helm of the company. He will continue to support Krahn Chemie in an advisory capacity. "We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Rolf Kuropka for his outstanding work and his significant contribution to the success of our company," says Krahn.

Continuity for the coming years

With the new management, Krahn Chemie is focusing on continuity and growth. "We will continue to expand our service and consulting offerings, focus more strongly on sustainability issues and utilize synergies within our group of companies," announces Krahn.
