LK Mechanik is focusing on the optimization and modernization of the ERP system, the digitization of machine data, a new energy management system and the establishment of strategic innovation management. "From all these projects, we will gain insights that will improve the efficiency of our processes, stabilize on-time delivery and professionalize communication with our customers," says Sebastian Götz, who is responsible for the digitization program as operations manager.
One focus is currently the standardization of the ERP system, as LK Mechanik + Blechverarbeitung GmbH is a merger of LOKA GmbH and LK Mechanik GmbH, which was previously located in Heuchelheim. The company also sees the digitalization of all production data and the establishment of a powerful ERP system as an important prerequisite for modern innovation management.
