Laser distance sensor from Micro Epsilon

Anzeige Measuring and testing | Created by BA

With the optoNCDT ILR3800-100, Micro-Epsilon presents a laser distance sensor that is characterized by high signal stability and precision on various surfaces.

The ILR3800-100 also measures dark, partially reflective and distant targets precisely and reliably thanks to an integrated auto-measurement mode. It can be used wherever accurate measurements need to be taken over long distances, for example in transportation, logistics and conveyor technology, automation technology and the metal and steel industry. Settings can be easily made using the sensorTOOL software.

Integrated auto-measurement mode

The new optoNCDT ILR3800-100 laser distance sensor from Micro Epsilon measures up to 150 m with and up to 100 m without a reflector. The measuring rate is 20 Hz with a resolution of 0.1 mm. OEM users in particular benefit from high reproducibility < 300 µm and low linearity < ± 1 mm. The laser distance sensor is equipped with a robust aluminum housing, a small sensor housing and protection class IP67.

Variant for outdoor use

The manufacturer has developed the ILR3800-100-H variant for extreme outdoor conditions. Equipped with a heating system, it enables measurements in the temperature range from -40 to +55 °C. The sensor can be attached quickly using the integrated mounting plate with four grub screws. An aluminum mounting plate is available as an option.
