Despite the decline in sales, Lamilux reports stable business. The company has achieved sales growth of around 85 percent over the past ten years. According to Lamilux, the consistently strong growth is based on a holistic approach that comprises various core elements. At the heart of this strategy is the consistent fulfillment of individual customer wishes. Another factor is the focus on technical innovation. But above all, "investing in employee satisfaction, training and development pays off for us in the long term and contributes to sustainable success," emphasizes Managing Director Johanna Strunz.
Composites split into two divisions
The Composites division suffered from the slump in the caravan boom and a difficult market environment. However, Lamilux was also able to successfully defend its market position here. The former Lamilux Composites division was split into two independent units: the "Mobile Applications and Industry" business unit and the "Building and Construction" business unit. The former continues to be a supplier of fiber-reinforced plastics for the caravan, commercial vehicle and tank container industries.
GRP for hygienic wall cladding
The focus of "Building and Construction" is on the use of glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP) as cladding for walls in hygienically sensitive areas. "We are very confident that the introduction of the new Building and Construction business unit and our increased entry into the construction industry will enable us to further consolidate and expand our position as a global leader in the GRP industry," says Dr. Alexander Strunz.
Expanding production and administration
Lamilux continued to invest in its future. Among other things, there are plans to expand production and administration in Hof. State-of-the-art equipment, digitalization and modern software systems are further acquisitions that will increase efficiency and thus competitiveness
