The Bavarian Ministry of Finance and Home Affairs honors Lamilux for its activities and commitment in the Hochfranken region as a "Heimatverbundenes Unternehmen" (company close to home). Minister of State Albert Füracker presented the award to the managing director couple Dr. Heinrich and Dr. Dorothee Strunz on April 24.

Lamilux, manufacturer of daylight systems, has been supporting the promotion of young talent and career choices for years through various CSR measures in the Hochfranken region. The company's own daycare center, the organization of the study and career orientation fair "Contacta HochFranken" and the development of a company training concept "Education for Excellence" are examples of the company's commitment. Furthermore, programming courses for children and the family action day "Eine Stadt spielt MINT" (A city plays STEM) are organized to introduce children to STEM professions in a playful way. Lamilux Heinrich Strunz Holding GmbH & Co. KG from Rehau receives the award "Heimatverbundenes Unternehmen" for the measure "Engagement für die Region Hochfranken" with various partners of the region Hochfranken.

A total of nine Bavarian companies received the award. "Regionally rooted companies make an important contribution locally - they offer jobs close to home, promote inclusion and support voluntary and social commitment," says Albert Füracker, Minister of Finance and Home Affairs. The civic side of entrepreneurial activity is more important than ever, especially in challenging times.
