The special feature of Panacol's dual-curing adhesive Vitralit UD 4292 F is the high glass transition range of over 130°C with optimum curing parameters. With this newly developed adhesive, Panacol GmbH is responding to the growing market demand for UV anaerobic adhesive systems for structural bonding and sealing in automotive and electronics applications.
Vitralit UD 4292 F is a transparent acrylate system that can be cured in just a few seconds with light in the UVA or visual range. Dr. Hönle's LED spot devices, whose wavelengths are specifically aligned with the adhesive's photoinitiators, have proven particularly suitable for curing. After UV curing in seconds, the adhesive polymerizes anaerobically in shadow areas. Post-curing can be accelerated by adding heat or by using an activator. With optimally selected curing parameters and subsequent polymerization by metal ions in the absence of oxygen, Vitralit UD 4292 F ensures high adhesion to metals.
