C. Jentner GmbH from Pforzheim has expanded its management team as of January 1, 2025. Tobias Kleiber represents the company, which specializes in contract electroplating. The 39-year-old trained surface coater and electroplating technician will take on the newly created second managing director position alongside Chris Jentner, the managing partner. While Kleiber will be responsible for technical areas, Jentner intends to focus more on the strategic interests of the Jentner Group, which has around 50 employees. The plan is to expand the market position in the high-tech segments.
Auditing for aviation, aerospace and defense
Jentner has already digitalized all operational processes, including precision manufacturing. Auditing in accordance with DIN EN 9100 is scheduled for the second half of the year. This will qualify Jentner as an electroplating provider for aviation, aerospace and defense. Tobias Kleiber brings with him extensive industry knowledge and contacts from these sectors from his previous positions.
From surface coater to plant manager
After his apprenticeship as a surface coater and initial professional experience, Kleiber qualified as a state-certified technician specializing in electroplating technology. He gained many years of international experience as an electroplating technician with customers in China, India, Jordan and Taiwan. Initially working as an assistant to the production manager in the strip electroplating sector, he rose through the ranks to become responsible for the entire strip electroplating process. After gaining further experience as a plant manager, he finally moved to a company with a focus on aerospace and defense.
