From June 3 to 5, IST Metz is once again inviting visitors to its in-house exhibition for UV, LED and excimer technology, UV Days 2025. With over 40 international exhibitors at its side, the company will be demonstrating how modern UV technology conserves resources and offers efficiency. IST Metz has been organizing the UV Days since 2002 and this year's program includes live demonstrations, lectures, guided tours and conferences as well as FREEcure and SMARTcure technologies.
Experience FREEcure & SMARTcure live
The FREEcure curing technology reduces the use of photoinitiators to a minimum or even makes them completely superfluous. This technology is particularly suitable for production with low-migration inks for sensitive products and packaging. FREEcure makes it possible to reduce the number of dryers, which saves energy.
AI-supported curing technology
SMARTcure is an AI-supported curing technology that identifies potential energy savings, optimizes the curing process and extends the service life of LED systems. The system analyzes all relevant parameters, such as the dryer output per unit depending on the ink location as well as the ink and coating type and the maximum production speed based on the required dose. The entire UV curing process becomes smarter, more sustainable and more efficient.
Excursion days and topic highlights
At the inkjet conference, experts from the digital printing industry will report on the latest developments. On the second day of the event, IST Metz will accompany a delegation to the Institute for Aircraft Construction (IFB) and on the third day to the German Institute for Textile + Fiber Research (DITF).
