The UV Analyzer from IST Metz GmbH & Co. KG is suitable for any application where the UV dose is of interest and cannot be accessed with conventional measuring devices. The app displays dose measurements in relation to the type of UV unit and spectrum for both UV and LED. In addition, the meter takes into account that UV measurement strips do not have uniform sensitivity across the entire UV range. Therefore, the reference curves referenced to aggregate type and spectrum allow for precise measurement assignment. In addition, each stick is referenced to a standard, thus ensuring high measurement quality.
For measurement, a measuring strip is glued to the substrate and irradiated with UV. Depending on the irradiation dose, the measuring strip turns dark blue. The stick is then paired with the app via Bluetooth and measured within 15 minutes. The app displays the measured UV dose in mJ/cm², this value can be compared with the reference value.
