The Hönle Curing Business Unit has been a partner to the printing industry for decades and its curing and drying systems are used on printing presses worldwide. At the Hunkeler Innovation Days, the focus of the exhibition will be on combined infrared / hot air modules for drying water-based inkjet inks. Both drying components can be controlled separately.
Space-saving design
Thanks to its space-saving design, the IR / hot air module can be easily integrated into the printing press. In addition, the IR / hot air dryer can be pulled out of the machine quickly and easily thanks to its cassette technology, for example to replace lamps or to make space for an optional UV module.
World first with patented measuring technology
Hönle will also be showing a selection of its LED UV curing units for digital printing. A world first is the UV Scan MACS with patented measuring technology, with which the UV dose can be determined easily and precisely. The system consists of the industrial-grade macsReader and the calibratable macsStrips measuring strips.
