On 1 May, Dr. Markus Arendt took up his position as a member of the Management Board of Dr. Hönle AG. He succeeds Dr. Franz Richter, who had been delegated to the Management Board by the Supervisory Board for one year in order to manage the business on an interim basis.
Arendt's previous positions
Dr. Markus Arendt has many years of experience at various industrial companies. Most recently, the industrial engineering graduate was Managing Director of the German subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc., a supplier to the semiconductor industry. Prior to that, he held various management positions at SUSS MicroTec SE for 15 years.
Industry knowledge in advanced packaging
"With its range of products and technologies, the Hönle Group is already active in attractive growth markets. I am looking forward to contributing my industry knowledge in advanced packaging and my international experience, particularly in the USA and Asia, to the further development of the Group," says Markus Arendt.
