More than 4,000 companies from around the world will present high-tech solutions for the production and energy supply of the future in Hannover, Germany, from April 17-21, 2023. The event comprises seven exhibition areas: Automation, Motion & Drives, Digital Ecosystems, Energy Solutions, Engineered Parts & Solutions, Future Hub, Compressed Air & Vacuum and Global Business & Markets. "Hannover Messe 2023 will show the difference exhibiting companies can make, the changes they are driving and the innovations they are developing - on the way to a climate-neutral industry," says Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutsche Messe AG. Among other things, solutions for CO2-neutral production, resilient supply chains, but also circular economy or hydrogen and fuel cells will be presented.
The partner country of the Hannover Messe this time is Indonesia. The largest economic power in the ASEAN region wants to be one of the ten largest economies in the world by 2030. Renewable energies are to account for 51.6 percent of total electricity generation by then. Just under half is to be accounted for by hydropower, and around a quarter by photovoltaics. At the Hannover Messe, the country is presenting itself as a reliable partner for companies around the globe.
