The management of the Holzapfel Group will in future be in the hands of CEO André Steffen. The 49-year-old electroplating expert impressed the shareholders with his commercial and technical expertise. Together with Sascha Winkelmann, the new Technical Managing Director, he will lead the company into the future. Winkelmann has been with the company for four years and has many years of experience in the automotive and aviation industries. The top management team is completed by Bianca Blaas and Tina Lombardo (née Blaas). Blaas has been both an authorized signatory and shareholder for many years. In future, she will be responsible for strategic corporate development and sales. Lombardo, also an authorized signatory and shareholder, will continue to be responsible for human resources within the Group.
Withdrawal from the operational business
The long-standing managing partner Hans-Ludwig Blaas, who has been with the company since 1967 and active as a partner and managing director since 1980, is gradually withdrawing from the operational business after almost 45 years. Instead, he will support the management team in an advisory capacity as Chairman of the Advisory Board. Blaas has received several awards for his voluntary work. In his new role as an advisory board member, he will also use his experience and network to support the next generation in their new goals.
