The tasks in component cleaning and the requirements for technical cleanliness have changed in recent years due to new and modified products as well as changed manufacturing and joining technologies. As a navigator for industrial component cleaning, FiT e. V. has tailored its information offering for this year's parts2clean, which will take place from September 26 to 28 in Stuttgart, Germany, to reflect these changes. The equally informative program will include presentations and exciting lectures on new trends and developments, as well as current tasks. One highlight will be the presentation of the second FiT2clean Award, worth 10,000 euros, on September 28, 2023.
On the first day of the trade show, FiT members will offer know-how and provide information on solutions. Visitors will be introduced to ultrasonic cleaning and cavitation, for example. Practical examples from medical and pharmaceutical technology will be used to show why CO2 snow jet cleaning can be an alternative. The lecture will also present achievable cleanliness values with regard to particulate and, above all, chemical contaminants. Are solvents better than their reputation? This question will also be answered at the FiT action area. Stable and controlled cleaning processes - application specialists will present and discuss practice-oriented solutions to typical problems in this field. The lecture program on the second day of the trade show will provide insights into various working topics of the trade association. On the third day of the trade show before the FiT2clean Award is presented, the three finalists will present their submitted innovations.
