The VOA looks back on three exciting days at the trade show: "We are very pleased to be able to enter into personal dialog with our members again after the Aluminium break of several years and to exchange the latest news from the world of surface finishing. We also succeeded in making new, interesting contacts, which shows that the industry and its services are in great demand despite the current uncertain situation," says VOA Managing Director Dr. Alexa A. Becker. In many cases, specific technical issues, but also the skyrocketing energy prices and supply bottlenecks, as well as overall economic developments, dominated discussions at the show.
However, the sanctions against Russia and China's no-covid strategy had an impact on the visitor structure. Nevertheless, Dr. Becker draws a positive conclusion: "The conversations at our booth made clear the importance of the company search on our VOA homepage. In addition, the visitors reflected that the VOA posts useful information online. The contact with politicians to draw attention to the situation of the surface finishing industry also received praise."
