Excor Korrosionsschutz-Technologien und -Produkte GmbH will be exhibiting at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart for the first time. From March 11 to 13, 2025, the company will be presenting its latest developments in the field of temporary corrosion protection. One example is the Valeno Layertray packaging with integrated corrosion protection. Whether brake discs or camshafts - Valeno Layertray can be adapted to different packaged goods.
Simplified handling
Thanks to the integrated corrosion protection, the manufacturer's tailor-made packaging solutions simplify the handling of the packaging material: after use, the packaging can be easily disposed of in waste paper.
How the vapor phase corrosion protection works
The anti-corrosion agent is contained in various packaging materials such as film. It evaporates from these into the packaging space, settles on the bare metal surfaces and thus provides protection against corrosion. Once the packaging has been removed, the active ingredients evaporate without leaving any residue. In contrast to packaging with protective layers of oils or waxes, Excor packaging can be disposed of without hesitation.
Protect metal parts from corrosion
Excor's product portfolio includes ICB and VCI films, VCI papers, VCI dispensers and VCI rigid plastics. A structural packaging for shaft stubs will also be presented. This is an example of the possibilities of individual packaging development in combination with Excor product solutions to safely protect metal parts from corrosion during transportation and storage.
