EWS European Welding Service GmbH developed the new gloves in collaboration with welders. For TIG welding, for example, the focus was on freedom of movement for the fingers and anatomy-specific padding. For MIG/MAG welding, the focus was on a secure grip with minimal effort and sufficient flexibility to operate the switch.
The three ERGO TIG models have a special thumb design. ERGO TIG comfort, for example, is characterized by seamless wing thumbs and index fingers. ERGO TIG protect was developed analogously to the movement of the fingers. With ERGO TIG nano, a straight thumb makes it easier to guide the TIG rod. The models for MIG/MAG applications are available in sizes 10 and 11. Once as ERGO MIG wingman with reinforcement in the knuckle area or as ERGO MIG vanguard with reinforcement on the palm and thumb and an index finger design for optimal switch control.
