Researchers, formulators, and developers from industry, universities, and research institutions are invited to submit proposals for the conference program of the European Coatings Show (ECS) 2027. The deadline for submitting titles and abstracts is September 18, 2026. Notification of acceptance is scheduled for late October.
The focus is on scientifically sound findings and technological developments in the fields of coatings and paints, printing inks, digitalization, adhesives and sealants, and construction chemicals.
144 Technical Presentations on Coatings and New Technologies
Approximately 650 participants are expected to attend the ECS Conference. A total of 144 technical presentations are planned across 24 thematic sessions. These will cover current research findings, technological developments, and industry trends in the international coatings industry.
A plenary session will open the conference on Monday morning and focus on current developments and future challenges. In addition, a student poster session will offer young researchers the opportunity to present their research and network with experts from industry and academia.
ECS Conference Runs Concurrently with the Trade Fair
Due to the overlap with the European Coatings Show, the event brings together scientific and industrial topics. Manufacturers, raw material suppliers, formulators, and technology providers will meet with experts from research and development in Nuremberg.
