Ecoclean has released an updated version of its digital service platform app for iOS and Android. The update focuses on improved user guidance, additional features for communicating with the service team, and expanded capabilities for data analysis and documentation. The app can be used on smartphones, tablets, and via web interfaces on desktop computers.
The app serves as an interface between plant operators and the responsible service location. It provides support for technical inquiries, troubleshooting, gathering information, ordering replacement parts, and training requests. To this end, a bidirectional real-time connection via a chat function, as well as the transfer of images and videos, are available.
Shared Access to Inquiries
According to Ecoclean, the new version primarily simplifies the user experience. Once registered, cleaning systems are now visible to every user. Additionally, all registered users can access existing requests. This is intended to prevent duplicate processing and reduce information loss.
A chat function with selection fields is available for new reports and status updates on ongoing processes. An invitation feature allows additional colleagues to register. Ecoclean describes the result as “a virtual network that enables internal communication almost like in real life.” The system also detects incorrect or ambiguous entries—such as those for a system’s serial number—and can verify, correct, or confirm them.
Analysis of Ultrasonic Performance Data
The app takes on another task when used with the APM-Go measurement solution. This solution is designed for the reproducible and non-contact measurement of ultrasonic power in continuous immersion and chamber systems. The measured values are transmitted to the app via Bluetooth, where they are automatically evaluated, documented in measurement reports, and saved.
The app will soon be expanded to include machine documentation as well. This will enable access to the relevant system documentation from any internet-enabled device. The new version of the Ecoclean app is available for free download in the app stores.
