Dealing with PFAS in joining technology
The discussions about the potential PFAS ban in particular took up a lot of space, as the handling of these substances in joining technology is an important topic. As part of this, an event was held by the EIFI (European Industrial Fasteners Institute) on the first day of the trade fair, which dealt with the possible PFAS ban. The event was well attended and showed the great interest of the industry. "With numerous experts and speakers from various industry sectors, the event was a complete success," says Sabrina Hilbt, Strategic Sales Manager at Dörken Coatings, who was also a speaker at the event.
Dörken presents PFAS-free product range
In line with current market developments, "PFAS-free coating solutions" were the core topic at the Dörken stand. The coating experts presented their new PFAS-free product range, which consists of basecoats and topcoats and has been successfully tested in series production.
