Deloro presents alloys for additive manufacturing at the Formnext 2024 trade fair. They are characterized by biocompatibility and high corrosion and wear resistance.

Deloro Wear Solutions, a provider of metallic wear protection, will be presenting its portfolio in the field of additive manufacturing at this year's Formnext from November 19 to 22. This includes cobalt-chromium powder (CoCr) from the Stellite alloy family. "Our CoCr alloys offer outstanding biocompatibility as well as corrosion and wear resistance - ideal properties for applications in the healthcare sector. Our materials guarantee reliability," says Jasmin Lang, Director Welding Equipment/Materials at Deloro Wear Solutions.

Suitable for orthopaedic implants

With its cobalt-chrome powders, Deloro is showcasing materials that are particularly suitable for dental implants, dental crowns and orthopaedic implants. Deloro's "Full Metal Anti-Aging" concept increases the longevity of these components.

Processes such as selective laser melting

In addition to material properties, manufacturing technology also plays a key role in additive manufacturing. Deloro will therefore be showcasing various additive manufacturing processes, including selective laser melting (SLM) and metal binder jetting (MBJ), at stand B105 in hall 12.0. These technologies enable the precise and fast production of components with complex geometries.
