Compair presents intelligent compressor management system

Anzeige Other topics | Created by BA

Compair has introduced an AI-based compressed air management system that adjusts compressor settings in real time. It can reduce energy and CO₂ costs by up to 30%, according to the press release.

The production of compressed air is extremely energy-intensive. Conventional control systems are usually not designed to adapt to fluctuating compressed air demand in real time. Up to 50 percent of the compressed air produced is lost due to inefficient use, artificial demand and failure to detect pressure losses or leaks.

Dynamic instead of static control

Ecoplant uses dynamic, AI-based control instead of static control. It monitors important key figures throughout the network and adjusts the compressor setpoints accordingly. At the same time, the optimum operating mode is selected. The cloud-based management solution combines algorithm-driven intuitive predictive maintenance with proactive SAAS analysis and control to detect leaks. Immediate maintenance alerts and user-friendly one-click monitoring help to reduce response times and avoid downtime.

Data history for a better overview

Ecoplant can be adapted to the specific requirements of each site, for example to monitor energy consumption and operation. Historical data is available indefinitely. This makes it possible to track phases of inactivity or lower demand for the entire system or individual processes or compressors.

Online calculator shows potential savings

An online calculator for annual value determination is available on the Compair company website.
