In conversation with the member of the Bundestag, Seppeler Managing Director Thomas Weise called for a fact-oriented energy plan for Germany and a balanced policy for small and medium-sized businesses. "Up to 19,000 hot-dip galvanized screws are installed in a wind turbine. Hot-dip galvanized substructures stabilize PV plants. Hot-dip galvanized steel secures a stable energy supply for our society via electricity pylons," Weise said. "Our material can help achieve climate protection targets." He added that the German government must deliver, also with regard to energy policy.
"Seppeler provides the material that is needed for renewable energies or in the energy infrastructure, among other things. At the same time, high energy costs, the shortage of skilled workers and increasing bureaucracy are a burden on the industry, which is dominated by medium-sized companies. The German government must create framework conditions so that companies can process their products competitively in Germany. These include a serious energy policy, planning security and, above all, faster approval processes," said Ralph Brinkhaus, a member of the Bundestag.
