The Bodo Möller Chemie Group is significantly expanding its presence in Mexico with the acquisition of the Chihuahua-based Bridge Chemical Company (BCC). The merger will take effect in mid-January 2026. The integration will create an expanded sales and service network with additional technical expertise in the country's central industrial areas.
Around 30 years of experience in the distribution of specialty chemicals
BCC has around 30 years of experience in the distribution of specialty chemicals and supplies customers in the automotive, aerospace, commercial vehicle, electronics and metalworking industries. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9120B and has seven sales offices, six warehouses and its own laboratory. The focus is on bonding, sealing, surface treatment, foaming and release agent technology. The portfolio includes products from Henkel, which fit seamlessly into Bodo Möller Chemie's existing range of solutions. The aim of the merger is to strengthen local technical support and expand access to industrial customers in the Mexican market.
Partnership approach for sustainable growth
"Together with BCC, we are creating a strong platform for our customers in Latin America," says Frank Haug, CEO of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group. The integration is being carried out in close coordination with founder Francisco Puente, who is contributing his local market knowledge and established customer relationships. Puente says: "Having a strong partner at our side opens up new prospects for sustainable growth." Andreas Moser, Sales Director of Bodo Möller Chemie, also sees the takeover as an important addition: "We have had our own branch in Mexico since 2018. The connection with BCC creates a broader base and more direct customer access in a dynamic market."
