Bodo Möller Chemie has completed the acquisition of Rocktin's Asian distribution business. Rocktin, founded in 1990, is a long-standing Henkel distribution partner with headquarters in China and locations in Vietnam, Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong. The company distributes the Henkel product brands Loctite, Technomelt, Teroson and Bonderite, among others. With more than 130 employees and a well-established local infrastructure with offices, warehouses and laboratories at eleven locations in China, Rocktin brings extensive market knowledge to the Group.

Expansion in the Asian region

The acquisition strengthens Bodo Möller Chemie's presence in the APAC region and consolidates its position as one of Henkel's leading partners in the field of electronic adhesives. The integration of Rocktin is a significant milestone in Bodo Möller Chemie's international expansion strategy. With the integration of Rocktin, Bodo Möller Chemie becomes one of the largest distributors of Henkel products in Greater China and expects a sales growth of more than 100 million US dollars. In the APAC region, the Bodo Möller Chemie Group thus achieves a turnover of around 120 million euros and employs more than 200 people.

Competence center for adhesive applications

Customers benefit not only from the expanded product portfolio, but also from the technical know-how and the newly established Adhesive Competence Center in Shanghai, which is designed for adhesive applications in electronics. The sales focus is on applications in consumer and industrial electronics, the automotive sector and semiconductor technology. The portfolio includes leading Henkel product brands.
