The DHE/LH-SRS variant was certified to Class A, which allows a maximum of 0.75 liters of rain per square meter per hour. In the test, the canopy remained completely dry in simulated heavy rain and wind speeds of up to 13 m/s. The manufacturer is thus setting a new standard. "Our driving rain-proof slatted hood provides reliable protection even under extreme weather conditions," says Product Manager Karsten Bruns.
Use in sensitive areas
The square roof hood is used in ventilation technology for outside and exhaust air. The SRS version is particularly suitable for critical applications such as server rooms, switch cabinets or clean rooms, where even minimal moisture ingress must be prevented.
Further technical development
The new design combines a stable substructure with precisely fitted blades. A bird protection grille prevents the ingress of foreign bodies, while an inclined roof with a drip edge efficiently drains off water. This ensures long-term operational safety even in adverse weather conditions.
Flexibility for planners and operators
The driving rain-proof louvre hood can be designed in the configurator up to a dimension of 1,450 x 1,450 millimetres. Larger dimensions are implemented on a project-specific basis. Customers can choose between galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminium; numerous RAL colors are also available.
