The welded air duct from BerlinerLuft Technik GmbH now has a hygiene certificate. It therefore meets the requirements of VDI 6022 and DIN 1946-4, making it suitable for use in hygienically sensitive areas such as clean rooms, laboratories and hospitals.
New hygiene duct
The air duct is made of galvanized steel, welded on all sides and coated on the inside to ensure permanent microbial inertness. Microorganisms such as bacteria or mould cannot colonize or multiply on the duct surface. The new air duct stands for the highest standards of hygiene and material quality.
For complex systems with high pressure
The welded duct remains dimensionally stable and reliably sealed even in pressure ranges of up to 6,000 Pa and with long air duct sections. The tight air duct also results in lower leakage losses. While folded ducts reach their limits in such environments, the welded construction made of galvanized steel offers a reliable solution with a hygiene certificate in accordance with VDI 6022 and DIN 1946-4.
