BASF Coatings and Toyota Motor Europe have signed an agreement to develop the Body&Paint program for the European market. As part of the collaboration, BASF Coatings will make its Glasurit and R-M paint brands available for repairs in Toyota and Lexus workshops. A central element of the Body&Paint program is also the cloud-based Refinity platform, which supports workshops with color matching, business management and training.
Consulting service for workshops
BASF's consulting service for workshops, Body Shop Boost, is also an important part of the program. This supports workshops in optimizing business processes and improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. The program also includes training courses to continuously educate employees and expand their skills.
Gradual introduction
The Body&Paint program will be rolled out gradually in Europe over the coming months. Both partners hope that the collaboration will lead to a long-term improvement in service quality and support the workshop network in achieving efficiency and sustainability goals.
