BASF Coatings is launching a digital solution under the "Refinity" brand that enables workshops to evaluate the use of materials in the paint shop based on environmental, economic and social aspects. The tool measures and compares directly in the workshop and thus helps to increase profitability and improve the ecological footprint.
Comparison with other paint shops possible
"The assessments result in an individual CO2 footprint for the company and enable comparison with other paint shops. By comparing the results, the tool helps to define measures to improve performance and reduce environmental impact," says Dr. Rahel Reichmann, Head of Sustainability Automotive Refinish Coatings at BASF.
