After the Corona crisis has already led to supply chain issues, the economic situation - especially in the energy sector - has become even worse. For this reason, in addition to the technical presentations, the "energy issue" will be examined in more detail. A highlight on the evening of the first day will be the presentation of the trainee award "Everyone needs powder". "Training is the guarantor of quality and our answer to the shortage of skilled workers," says initiator Matthias Bader.
The award is intended to highlight this and is being presented for the third time. All trainees who have successfully completed their training as process mechanics for coating technology with a focus on powder coating in 2020, 2021 or 2022 can take part. Applications will be accepted by the QIB office until October 14, 2022. A jury will select the best work from all applications. The prize winners will be invited to participate in the entire practical forum, including overnight hotel accommodation, and will receive a cash prize, a trophy and technical literature.
