After numerous professional talks and discussions, opportunities for further cooperation and professional exchange emerged, reports the QiB. Together with the IVF, it will start a joint long-term project this year. This will include a joint aging test on corrosion protection with organic coating systems. Here, further long-term experience is to be gained with KTL and powder coating systems.
The QIB sees itself as a quality association for industrial coating of the materials aluminum, steel and galvanized steel with powder coating and/or cathodic dip coating as well as with liquid coating. In order for a company to be awarded a quality mark, certain criteria from the regulations must be met. The stress groups are based on the corrosivity categories of ISO 12944. A high quality standard is ensured with the help of the QIB quality mark and serves as orientation for the customer.
