Weicon Anti-stick is a liquid, gray 2-component epoxy resin system that was developed for processing with a low-pressure system. It protects highly stressed surfaces against aggressive chemicals and corrosion. In addition to mineral fillers, it contains anti-stick additives that create an anti-stick effect and thus prevent the adhesion of flour, dust or suspended particles, for example. The solvent-free system has good chemical and thermal resistance up to +120 °C. It hardens almost without shrinkage.
Apply by sandblasting
Anti-stick is applied directly to the parts by sandblasting. The coating adheres very well to a wide variety of surfaces and is suitable for a wide range of parts, such as plain bearings, chutes, funnels or valves. It can be used in mechanical and plant engineering, in apparatus engineering, in the paper industry, in the bulk goods industry, in exhaust systems, in mining, in open-cast mining, in chemical plants and in many other areas of industrial production. The manufacturer recommends preliminary tests under realistic conditions, especially if the parts are also exposed to high temperatures or mechanical stress. Anti-stick is suitable on its own or in combination with one of the other Weicon plastic-steel types for a system structure as an anti-stick coating.
