Components that need to be thermally coated at higher temperatures can be bonded without risk using the new adhesive from Weicon. It is resistant to high temperatures.

Weicon Flex 310 M HT 220+ is the name of the new adhesive and sealant from the manufacturer of specialty chemical products. It is suitable for areas and applications where high temperatures prevail. With this newly developed adhesive, Weicon is closing a gap in the field of elastic adhesives and sealants for bonding applications in which components are thermally coated in the higher temperature range. The high-temperature resistant 1-component SMP-based adhesive and sealant is fast-curing and elastic and is suitable for tolerance-compensating joints.

Temperature resistant at 220° Celsius

Flex 310 M HT 220+ has a viscoplastic consistency and a very fast strength build-up. It has good initial adhesion, is moisture-curing and neutrally cross-linking. Once cured, the adhesive and sealant can be exposed to temperatures of up to +220 °C for approx. 30 minutes and permanently up to +90 °C.
