The new two-component cyanoacrylate adhesive Weicon VA 2407 cures quickly and adheres reliably. It is suitable for bonding a wide variety of materials, such as plastics, metals, rubber or glass.

Weicon, based in Münster, Germany, has developed a colorless and crystal-clear two-component adhesive - Weicon VA 2407adheres to many different surfaces, such as polycarbonate and other plastics, to steel, stainless steel, aluminum, ceramics, glass or even rubber. The hybrid adhesive is based in part on cyanoacrylate adhesives and combines their speed with the process reliability of two-component structural adhesives. It can be used universally, has high adhesive strength, cures quickly and is high-strength.

VA 2407 can be sanded and recoated after about 25 minutes. It is resistant to weathering, many aggressive chemicals, impact stress and vibration. It is resistant to temperatures from -20 °C to +120 °C. Depending on the geometry of the bond, gaps of up to 5 mm can be bridged with VA 2407.
