Production should be smooth and, as far as possible, without producing faulty parts. Products should be long-lasting. These requirements make cleaning processes increasingly complex. But experts in this field are rare. Most of them have trained themselves in component cleaning. The subject is not integrated into university courses. This is now to change once and for all: In cooperation with the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (BHT), the FiT has introduced a new series of lectures in the bachelor's degree programme in pharmaceutical and chemical engineering. And there are also further training opportunities in technical cleanliness at other universities.
