According to Mankiewicz, this type of chrome surface is in demand as a timeless design element in many areas of application. As a high-quality and elegant alternative to environmentally harmful chrome plating, chrome replacement coatings also score points with their variety of colors. The costly and toxic chromating process is replaced by an efficient and safe painting process using standard equipment, which reduces process costs.
