After graduating from high school, one of Adler's six new apprentices, took part in a taster day at the Adler paint factory: "I applied straight away," she says. Because training as a laboratory technician is exciting and varied and offers many opportunities. "We were given a great reception," another apprentice also enthuses. A two-day apprentice excursion was already on the agenda in the first week. The six "newbies" got to know their trainers, colleagues and two important Adler customers, the kitchen manufacturer EWE and the window manufacturer Josko.
The apprentices stay in one department for six months, after which they move to a new area and can find out what they are particularly good at. They can choose from furniture lacquers, stains, window coatings and color matching. They are accompanied by their trainers, who offer practical help as well as weekly theory lessons to prepare the apprentices for the challenges of vocational school.
