Trapylen 9500 W is a chlorine-free, water-dilutable adhesion promoter based on acrylate-modified polypropylene. With a high melting point of 120 °C, it offers very good temperature resistance and flexibility. These properties make it ideal for use in processes that take place at high temperatures, such as heat-sealing aluminum onto polypropylene. It is also solvent-free due to the process.
Suitable for the pre-treatment of polyolefin films
Trapylene 9500 W also has a high affinity for polyolefinic films, especially those based on PP, TPO and TPE. It is therefore particularly suitable for the chemical pre-treatment of these films and of molded parts made of polypropylene and PP blends that are subsequently to be painted or embossed. If compatible, Trapylene 9500 W can be incorporated directly into dispersions of adhesives, paints or printing inks.
