ABB presents the two industrial power supply units CP-S.3 and CP-S.DC: The three-phase CP-S.3 switched-mode power supply units and the CP-S.DC high-voltage DC/DC converter with efficiencies of up to 94 percent reduce energy costs. They also save up to 1.4 tons of CO₂ over their service life. "Our highly efficient power supply units contribute to our customers' sustainability goals," explains Sebastian Koll, Product Marketing Specialist at ABB.
50 percent space saving
The compact design saves up to 50 percent space in the control cabinet. The power reserve of 150 percent for five seconds can be used to reliably start heavy loads. From OEM mechanical engineering to industrial automation and renewable energy applications: ABB's new power supplies increase system reliability with an output voltage of 24 V DC (adjustable from 24 to 28 V DC). Coated circuit boards and a robust metal housing protect against environmental influences and guarantee a long service life - even under demanding conditions. The power factor correction and the operating temperature range of -25 to +70 °C make the power supply units a reliable solution for many applications.
