At the new campus at B&R, ABB AG's global center for machine and factory automation, new products and applications are being developed in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine and factory automation that will help unlock potential for industrial production of the future. The innovations are also intended to help increase the productivity and flexibility of companies so that they can produce sustainably and close to their end markets.
With the addition of the campus, the total area of B&R headquarters will grow to more than 100,000 square meters. The company headquarters, which currently employs 2,400 people, will thus become one of the largest integrated centers for production, research and training in Central Europe. At the same time, the expansion will free up space for production expansion.
