At automatica 2022, ABB will present the OmniVance FlexArc Compact Cell and the OmniVance Machining Cell solutions including machining software under the new OmniVance brand. Equipped with robots, controllers, software and other peripheral components, OmniVance manufacturing cells are ready-to-use, modular solutions that can be easily integrated into existing production lines. They also produce smaller batches efficiently to meet ever-increasing product variance.
The OmniVance FlexArc Compact Cell welding cell saves space and offers greater flexibility in welding applications with the smallest footprint in its class. The cell can also be easily combined with autonomous mobile robots. Up to four fixed robots provide an increase in production capacity without changing the cell's design. OmniVance Machining Cell increases productivity for up to eight different applications, while Machining Software significantly improves setup time, calibration and functionality.
