mo-TV was a guest at the learning electroplating facility of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA). The learning electroplating was extensively upgraded with new sensors and an S7 plant control system as part of the SmARtPlaS project. Since then, numerous values have been recorded, from temperature to PH value to filling level. DiTEC developed a test software on the ProGal software platform as part of SmARtPlaS. This enables batch-specific concentration determination for electrolytes and rinses. No additional hardware is required to determine these concentrations! DiTEC is now working on transferring the software to everyday electroplating production. In addition, the learning electroplating was equipped with augmented reality functions through the Softec AR app, among other things.
SmARtPlaS as a project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
