BYK Instruments is expanding its product portfolio of portable spectrophotometers. The provider of instruments and system solutions for measuring color, appearance and physical surface properties wants to do justice to the wide range of products to be tested. Now the spectro2go XS with reduced measuring aperture (∅ 5 mm) for color quality control of small parts completes the family. Its vertical design ensures that the large touchscreen is always in view.
Temperature stability and homogeneous illumination
All models in the series have intuitive operation and an integrated camera in common. The spectrophotometers are operated via an icon-based menu. The camera shows a live preview of the measuring range to ensure precise positioning even on the smallest samples. Like the other members of the spectro2 family, the spectro2go XS uses LED technology as its light source. The short-term, long-term and temperature stability as well as the homogeneous illumination of the measuring spot are high. This results in an accuracy and device agreement of dE94 < 0.11.
